Before you embark on your project, Fitness Plus can help you with a feasibility study to determine if an on-site center makes sense for you and your budget. Most clients and potential clients look to established programs and facilities for best practices and applicable design ideas that may be incorporated into their project. Fitness Plus has an extensive database as well as access to a wide variety of facilities that may be toured.

Business Plan and Projections

We can provide detailed budgets for capital, operational, and management costs for your proposed project. These budgets are often combined with membership and revenue projections to provide a forecast of what the bottom line will be.

Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Facility Design and Layout


We are able to provide the attention to detail and serves as an invaluable link between conceptual ideas by designers and architects to what is practical, functional, and attractive to make your center successful. We will work hand in hand with the client liaison(s), designers, architects, construction companies, and suppliers to ensure that every detail is considered when developing your center.



With our proprietary 3-D Gym program, we can even provide you with a 3-D virtual reality floorplan to give your clients with a “walk-in” feel of your new facility. This powerful marketing tool will enable you to execute pre-opening membership recruitment campaigns and you would have recoup part of your investment even before your club is ready. This program will also help you facilitate the design and equipment layout process. Assistance includes anything from placement of electrical outlets, to HVAC requirements, to flooring material specifications and advice on traffic flow.

Fitness Plus will work to customize all operational policies and procedures for our clients and provide all manuals and forms needed to successfully operate either staffed or unstaffed facilities in a safe and effective manner. This cooperative effort involves discussion of how to operate the center in keeping with the desired client culture. Materials include everything from opening and closing procedures to waiver and informed consent forms to be implemented at the center.

Marketing Strategies and Promotional Activities

Even the nicest center must be promoted appropriately to be successful. We can provide and/or facilitate a membership drive that will provide your center with a membership that is ready to participate on the first day of operation. If your facility is a corporate gym, a strong marketing and promotional opening event is equally important to generate interest from the staff to use the facility so that it doesn’t end up as a white elephant.
